Prince Scum 2
Once upon a time there was a little fool.
The little fool was such a fool that he couldn't perceive that he was a fool. Even when other people called him a fool he'd just stare blankly and endlessly and would never take heed or notice anything.
One day a fair maiden - who wasn't very fair or much of a maiden, but doesn't really mather. Only stupid fools care about such things and, luckily, we're talking about someone who is just a fool. - decided to crack open the little fool head and see what was hidden inside. And, indeed, there was much hidden in there. Not the greatest wonders that man had ever laid his eyes upon, - those were hidden in a cave inside a girl's head who was forever unreachable to anyone who cared - but still they were wonders. And everyone knows, wonders are hard to come by these days.
Still, it wasn't enough to chance the fool's condition. The contents of his head spilled all over the floor. In its watery essence the fool coould see his own reflection but couldn't recognize himself. All he could think was "I'm the fool, that can be myself". And so he left, leaving the fair maiden behind.
He continued to walk but now his head was empty. The fool couldn't perceive now even the most simple of things, like the cliff to which he was walking directly towards.
Though he didn't go down like it was expected. He was trapped there, to much of a fool to know how to fall. And people saw, and people came to him, and people pitied him. They pitied not for what had happened to him, after all, he was not miserable. He did not starve, he had a house, he could sleep. But pity was still there for everyone could see what the fool had done to himself. But pity in itself could no change anything. It only made the little fool proud of himself. It was then that someone cursed the little fool. And like a slap it hit him. And for the first time the fool could see what a fool he had been. He pondered on what choice to choose from. Truth is, the fool wasn't a very brave person, he was scared to what would happen to him if he decided to take the slap on his face. But he did anyway. And , at that moment, the fool was a fool no longer.
And then he fell.
